Yes, We Did... And Yes, I Can!

Today is a day of history, and today, I feel proud and ready to serve my country in the Peace Corps under President Obama.

My timeline couldn’t be more patriotic. I received my dental clearance notification on Independence Day. I received my invite on November 4, Election Day. And finally, my departure is on March 4, the original inauguration date up until FDR.

So, as Obama stated in his inaugural address today, I am ready to help plant the seeds of friendship in another country. I am ready to help those who have less than we do. I am ready to serve as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer!
